WHY LISBON, IA?
The short answer,
because God said so!
A little longer answer, because there's a gospel opportunity.
For an even longer answer,
WHY UNCOMMON?
We live in a world and at a time that needs hope. That's not new or all that uncommon. What's uncommon is where hope comes from
and how it spreads.
Jesus Christ is the source of hope! He gives us hope through a life-giving relationship with Him by faith.
As Jesus transforms us,
He calls us to spread that hope
as uncommon people
with uncommon purpose.
We seek to answer that call by starting a church with uncommon conviction, commitment, and clarity about spreading the hope of Jesus Christ.
WHY CO-VOCATIONAL?
The first question might be what is co-vocational?
Co-vocation is when a pastor has a second job to help pay the bills long term with a missional motivation.
There are several reason why I believe God is leading me to pursue being co-vocational.
